Greetings, fellow Huntsville Citizen! Did you know Huntsville has upcoming voting opportunities for our Municipal Election on  August 25th and the United States Presidential Election on November 3rd? Vote Huntsville will be providing information on every candidate to help you make informed decisions when you vote in these elections.

 

Our city will be voting to fill positions for Mayor, District 1 and 5 City Councilmen, and School Board Members on August 25th. There will also be opportunities to support local candidates during the general Presidential Election on November 3rd. You must be registered 15 days before each election. Register by August 10th for the Huntsville Municipal Election and October 19th for the general Presidential Election on November 3rd. Not sure where to register? It is crucial to ensure you have an active voter registration status. Do not forget to update any information that has recently changed, including any address and name changes. Check your registration status, find your polling place, or update your information at https://bit.ly/al-polls

 

Due to COVID-19, everyone is eligible to vote with an absentee ballot for both 2020 elections.  The Vote Huntsville team would love to help you get your absentee ballot application as well as submit your official ballot. Time is short so if you would like to vote through an absentee ballot, please apply for one now.  Our team can answer your questions regarding an application/ballot. Unsure if you or someone you know has the right to vote? Felons may be able to restore their right to vote! Most felons automatically have their voting rights restored after their time is served, and others can apply to have them restored.
