2020 ACHIEVEMENTS

Since our founding in June of 2020, Vote Huntsville has accomplished the following:

-Registered 300+ people to vote in the 2020 election

-Canvassed door-to-door, distributing voter resource cards to over 20,000 Huntsville residents

-Provided rides to the polls on election day

-Created a community voting hot-line to assist with any voting-related inquiries

-Utilized social media accounts to share tips and tricks, important voting information, updates on legislation that affects voters, and answers given by candidates to our Local and National Candidate Q & As

-Served over a dozen polling locations on election day in 2020 by: assisting in delivering 25+ pizzas by partnering with Pizza to the Polls; sharing snacks and water to those waiting at the polls with long lines; offering nonpartisan voter guides with basic candidate and amendment information to help inform voters

-Made house calls to assist local voters who were homebound, and assisted in completing the absentee ballot process

-Curated a Huntsville specific candidate questionnaire to help inform voters about the 2020 Huntsville Municipal Election candidates
